Wikileaks: The Haiti Files. Speaker in Victoria and Vancouver

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE, Tuesday, January 24, 2012

Kim Ives, an editor and writer at the Haitian weekly newspaper Haiti Liberté will speak at public forums and seminars in Victoria and Vancouver BC on January 27 and on January 30 and 31, respectively.

Mr. Ives was the lead writer and editor of a 2011 series of articles published by Haiti Liberté and The Nation magazine based on U.S. government diplomatic cables on Haiti from 2003 until 2010. The cables were entrusted to the publications by the Wikileaks organization. Articles from both publications are being compiled in a forthcoming book to be published by The Nation.
